Background

The most experienced IT company

The formation of Verysell dates back to 1990, when a transatlantic joint venture was formed under Merisel trademark.

The company’s mission was to create an efficient mechanism for the transfer of advanced information technologies from the West to the East, to the Soviet Union.

Rapid development of the company and superior performance results in the marketplace set the stage for a sale to one of the large international distribution firms.

In 1998, the American distributor, CHS Electronics, initiated a purchase of the company. However, the acquisition fell through after CHS filed for bankruptcy. Management buy-out followed soon after that.

Several Russian and foreign-based companies stood down, and many of them joined a project led by Mikhail Krasnov.

The primary goals of the project, named Verysell, were to re-crate a corporate structure and enter the capital markets in both Russia and overseas.

Executive Board of Verysell was established in Geneva and chaired by Mikhail Krasnov.

In the coming years, it is expected that Verysell will be restructured to a publicly traded corporation and headed towards IPO.
