Verysell Group totals year-end results, revealing a focus on new technologies and large-scale projects

Verysell Group announced today the results of business activity for 2005. The group’s aggregate revenues totaled 410 million USD, a sum derived from the following areas of activity: 214 million in distribution, 182 million in systems integration, and 14 million in consulting activities. With regard to systems integration, revenues increased nearly 30% from the previous year.

In 2005, Verysell Group pursued a strategy of developing IT services by refining existing and adding new technologies. The primary focus in this area was placed on increasing the utilization of SAP technologies. In the fall of 2005, Verysell consolidated Sterling Group, who holds the status of SAP Local Alliance Partner – Services. For the second consecutive year, SAP designated Verysell Enterprise ONE, "Partner of the Year", for advancing mySAP All-in-One solutions. Given those achievements, Verysell Group became one of the market leaders in implementing SAP technologies, and showed an ability to implement ERP projects for small and medium size businesses, and for larger business structures.

The creation and development of technologies proved to be an important sphere of activity last year. Verysell Group continues to pursue development in creating a comprehensive system for managing transportation companies with Transbase, and a system of commercial reporting for electric energy use. Verysell developed a system for e-commerce and managing delivery systems, which has been implemented in the supermarket chain, "The 7th Continent", and the pharmacy chain, "36,6."

Apart from these successes, 2005 witnessed the further development of existing consulting services and information solutions for assets management, targeted at large government and private organizations. Verysell Icountri specialists led these on-going developments. One of the larger projects in this area was the implementation of a government assets management system for the federal agency, Rosnedvizhimost. This project penetrated all departmental levels of Rosnedvizhimost, and reached 176 regional affiliates.

The implementation of an automated all-channel monitoring signaling system for Rostelekom, and the development of a unified computer service bureau for Lukoil, standout as other noteworthy projects of last year. In 2005, a long-term agreement was signed with Gazprom to provide programming support for processing geophysical data. In addition, successful collaboration continued with Delta-Telekom company with the development of a large-scale project for a cellular service network.

During the course of 2005, Verysell Group substantially widened its presence in the regional marketplace. A branch establishment was opened in Kazakhstan, which launched sales of software and received the exclusive distribution rights from Hitachi Data Systems. Verysell-Kazakhstan will handle the Group's coordination of business activity in Central Asia. Other branches of Verysell Group continue to pursue markets in Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Belarus.

A reorganization of Verysell’s distribution business was completed in 2005. Growth in this sector witnessed an increase of 39% from 2004. The continued development of project-based distribution and the optimization of Verysell’s product portfolio, stemming from high-tech solutions, were the primary factors responsible for this increase in growth. In terms of overall distribution sales, regional sales increased by a rate of 45%.

For 2006, Verysell’s shareholders have set a benchmark for management to increase overall revenues to 525 million USD, and restructure the current credit portfolio through additional European bank credit. Verysell will continue to fulfill M&A programm, and implement a unified ERP system in all of the Group's companies. As in the past, Verysell Group will continue to expand its activities in the regional markets.
